Happy Valentine's Day To You - Even If You Don't Celebrate It

I believe that it's a general knowledge that 14 February is a day for us to celebrate LOVE. I would have said that the celebration of Valentine's day is actually a commercial gimmick done by the florist and gift shops to make big bucks, but, I will reserve that for my other postings.

My Valentine's day celebration with Ms D is a bit mundane this year, thanks for my excessive spending habits. But heck, at least I've already bring her back to Miri, and that's a good thing, isn't it?

Last night we went to Parkson Grand in Bintang Plaza and was browsing for some fancy stuffs that are being displayed. We actually only focused on two things -wrist watches and perfumes. So, let's talk about those two things.

I don't know if there's anyone that are out of their mind or what, but I don't see any reason why I should spend RM179 on a 30ml or RM 357 for 100ml of Pure Poison Christian Dior perfume. Eww, that's bloody expensive, at least for my situation right now. Of course that would sounds like peanuts if I am earning like RM74k per month, right? So, maybe it's just my inner self trying to calm myself down for not being able to buy Ms D that bloody expensive perfume. Ugh~

And then, we went on and did some survey for wrist watches. There's this particular wrist watch with the brand ODM that I am not too keen to look at.

Can you imagine, it's uglier and so much simpler than wrist watches like Swatch and Guess, but the price is within the same range with one of those. Call me outdated, but I'd rather buy something from Swatch, Guess or perhaps, Bonia as a gift for my girlfriend.

I admit, it's a shame but I should've save some money and brought Ms D for a candle-light dinner, and bought her a bouquet of red roses as a confession of my love for her. I know it sounds like something too classic, but it's always better than not celebrating it at all, isn't it? ;)

.... Hmm, maybe I should start a new brand of perfume and do a massive promotion before next year's Valentine's Day celcebration and make boatloads of moolahs, haha.
